The CF charity bake off

CF Corporate Finance employees relished the opportunity to ‘bake off’ against one another, all in the name of raising money for the ‘Macmillan Coffee Morning’.

The morning kicked off with some fresh from the oven sausage rolls with pork crackling and apple or caramelised onion crusts and was swiftly followed by a huge array of chocolate, lemon drizzle, Victoria sponge, coconut raspberry ripple cakes and plenty of lemon and raspberry cupcakes!

There was not a shortage of willing tasters looking to get one (or five) of their ‘five a day’s and be part of ‘The Biggest Coffee Morning’ in the country, with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

It’s been a great day and a lot of fun had by all, so as the sugar kicks in be sure to pick up the phone to them as they are buzzing!

Ken’s on his bike again!

On the 19th April, CF’s Ken Wilding will be joining some fellow Fulham FC cyclists who will be setting off from Craven Cottage (Fulham) and cycling 140 miles to Bournemouth! The cycle will run over two days with an overnight stop in Winchester before finishing at the Vitality Stadium in time for Fulham’s penultimate away fixture of the season against Bournemouth (where he was hoping to be having a party to celebrate Premiership survival, however, it may well turn into a relegation party ☹

If you can spare a couple of pounds to sponsor Ken, we would be very grateful. Please click on the link to my JustGiving page: click here

The cycle challenge will help raise funds for Fulham FC Foundation’s work in the community, who run a lot of community initiatives to engage disadvantaged youngsters including the creation of London’s first Down’s Syndrome Football Team.
